Prof. Dr. Victor Klockmann

Since summer 2022, Victor Klockmann is Junior Professor of Microeconomics, esp. Economics of Digitization, at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Germany. Prior to that, he studied mathematics (BSc & MSc) and quantitative economics (MSc) at Goethe University Frankfurt, where he also did his PhD in economics in 2021 and was postdoc at the Center for Humans and Machines (MPI) in Berlin.
In his research, Victor uses theoretical, experimental, and empirical methods in combination with machine learning tools to study a broad range of questions on, for instance, human-machine interaction, the economic and ethical impact of artificial intelligence and belief biases and how to counteract them.
